2018 Resolutions

December 2017 25 th , 5:00 AM in the morning:with a warm brimming cup of tea; it’s the perfect time to sort out my next year’s resolution and the path forward to my goals. As a teenager, we had this standing joke which said resolutions are meant to be broken. But as an adult, I feel so lost without them. Not that I abide by them or achieve all of them 100%, but somehow these keep me going during my tough days. Whenever I feel strayed, browsing through these, reminds me of my path. 1.        Be a better mother: Last year it was to control my anger while dealing with my baby. Now that I have started to put a check on my anger and keeping in mind that the baby is growing up into a sweet little toddler, I too need to grow up as Mom. How do I do that? Om’s Birth Story-Part 1: THE PREGNANCY

3 rd May 2014: I had conducted my 1 st pregnancy test at my then home, in Bangalore. Result was indistinct; it was a 30/70. Being aware of all the complications related to my pregnancy, I was pretty confident on the negative result.  The next test was planned post my Bday on 11 th May, but some uncanny symptoms my body was giving me. That moment was like seeing the sea from a ferris wheel. I guess the bliss of giving birth to a child, is so very immense because the risks and pain surrounding those 9 months are equally elevated. Husbands take time to grasp all major developments in his woman’s life. I had this noti

If only sun rose in this shady city!! And…Wo!! 1000 miles away from Durgapur, I heard a voice shouting from nowhere “Neha!!” For a while, I thought, it was a dream and need not know where to look for the voice, so just as I was about to peep into my heart, I heard that same voice shouting my name…I jumped up and looked back!! And there he was, with his naive smile spread all over his face…he came closer to me infusing the same innocence in my heart! Telepathy was at its peak!! Stupid as I am; stupid as we are, one evening, the arrival of our friend to our flat, made us so excited that we forgot that our flat’s door had an interlock. With excitement beaming within us, we ran with them to show them our patio. When the night crept in and our friends left for their shelter, we came down and looked at each others face
